FINANCIAL ACCOUNTING

The roles and responsibilities in the Financial Accounting field include but are not limited to:

  • Financial control of revenues and expenditure along with Credit Control.

  • Strict adherence to LC policy and procedures for international sales.

  • Invoicing and collection of crude oil revenues and local revenues.


MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTING

The roles and responsibilities in the Management Accounting field include but are not limited to:

  • Financial performance reporting, costing, financial planning & forecasting and budgetary control.

  • Accounting, control and reporting of investment expenditure and fixed assets.

  • Management of company’s Insurance portfolio.


INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY

The roles and responsibilities in the Information Technology field include but are not limited to:

  • Development of the company’s IT plan including IT strategy, infrastructure capacity and business continuity.

  • Management of IT security and IT capacity for optimal use and performance.

  • Management of infrastructure including computer network and communications.


PROCUREMENT

The roles and responsibilities in the Procurement field include but are not limited to:

  • Supplier/contractor – prequalification, evaluation, performance monitoring and KPI development.

  • Contracting services – selection, preparation, awarding, issue and execution of contracts/purchase agreements/purchase orders/variation orders, other related functions and activities.

  • Local & International purchasing of stock/non-stock materials and equipment.


LEGAL SERVICES

The roles and responsibilities in the Legal Services field include but are not limited to:

  • Rendering professional counsel and advice to: board of directors, Bapco management, and company departments.

  • Securing and protecting company’s legal benefits and rights.

  • Reviewing, negotiating and drafting commercial agreements.


Treasury 

The roles and responsibilities in the Treasury field include but are not limited to:

  • Cash Management.

  • Foreign Exchange management.

  • Bank Relationship Management.

  • Financial Compliance and Reporting.
